At the moment Christmas presents are still form Argos !! This is fine when it is a established company with a global presence seconding to their UK branch, But the door is wide open for certain consultancies basically "in shoring" projects, when the skills are in the UK as well as potentially side stepping The Temporary Agency Working Directive that will eventually be rolled out in some form. Agencies should be very aware who owns the working visa if utilising a contractor from outside of the UK into the UK, The Visa is applied for by the consultancy and they are the end client, The contractor cannot then be utilised by a agency and placed at their end client.
