Established in its current form in September 1993 (as the IT & Comms group), the REC Technology Sector Group currently has over 400 members committed to raising standards across the industry.
Membership of the sector group is subject to strict membership criteria and procedures.
The Technology Sector Group’s Mission is:
- To represent the Technology recruitment industry, both within the REC and more importantly to the Technology community, including clients, candidates and key stakeholders.
The Technology Group’s Vision is:
- To set increasingly high standards of professional practice and ethical values throughout the industry;
- To be the focal point for the communication and supply of information throughout the industry;
- To ensure our policies reflect the views and needs of our members;
- To promote our views to both government and industry;
- To continuously improve the value members derive from the sector;
- To strengthen our standing as the recognised representative body for the Technology recruitment industry.
